The story begins a couple weeks before Cole’s accident! Cole had attended Double R Cowboy Church with my in-laws and got a few of those rubber bracelets that said “Walking with Jesus”. Little to my knowledge he brought home some bracelets & then took them to school. One day while waiting for the bus with a friend and Cole pulled a bracelet out of his backpack & gave the bracelet to his friend & then told him “if anything ever happens to me please give the bracelet to my best friend Jett”! Well 5 days after Cole’s accident this friend that sat with Cole while waiting on the bus honored Cole’s request and gave the bracelet to Jett.
